To further promote the habit of planting trees and conserving forests, Sahabat Alam participated in Indonesia Tree Planting Day held by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry under the theme “Fresh Forest, Towards Economic Stability” in Manggala Wanabhakti, Jakarta.

The commemoration consist of an exhibition and talkshow. Indonesian Minister of Environment and Forestry, Dr. Ir. Siti Nurbaya Bakar, M.Sc., together with her new cabinet officials attended the event. Sahabat Alam and friends were able to participate in the Environmental Talkshow aired nation-wide by TVRI.
