It is the responsibility of every member of society to protect and conserve environment. This is true because every ecosystem is related to other ones, even though they are separated by distance. Therefore, it is very important for everyone to take care of the environment around them. Not only it will make home a better place to live; it will prevent unexpected problems in other ecosystem.

Sahabat Alam believes that this responsibility should be proliferated as early as possible and to as many people as possible. Therefore, Sahabat Alam shared its knowledge and encourages children of GKP Jemaat Bogor to start preserving the environment around them under the seminar “Caring for Our Country”. In this session, Sahabat Alam also shared the importance and function of LRB (Lubang Resapan Biopori). Children of GKP Bogor also participated in making some LBRs of their own. Through this activity, it is hoped that the children would be more considerate about their environment and contribute more on preservation efforts.
