Every layer of society should be aware of whatever problem that concerns them so that a solution that benefits, or at least not harming, everyone can be obtained. Public awareness becomes even more important when it comes to environment issues, because it is very certain that everyone will receive direct impact. Furthermore, public awareness can also rally more involvement in environmental movement. Thus, exposure to such issue as early as possible is definitely needed.

Sahabat Alam, as an organization formed for the purpose of proliferating environmental awareness among youths, created a program called Save the Planet, a series of seminar held in schools to directly introduce and spread knowledge about green movement in a fun, simple, yet comprehensive way. In this occasion, Sahabat Alam delivered a presentation about biodiversity, climate change, and other related issues towards the student of At-Taufiq Primary School, Jakarta. This audience is the youngest of those participating in the Save the Planet so far. Hopefully, the seminar could establish sustainable habits and early involvement of these children in the pursuit of environment conservation.
