As a tangible show of our commitment towards nature and youths involvement, Sahabat Alam with Griya Tipar Cakung's Residents are planting Pohon Trembesi at their residences at Cakung Barat, East Jakarta. This activity aimed to increase oxygen production and reduce carbondioxide emission by planting Trembesi (Albizia Saman / Samanea Saman) commonly called Ki Hujan. The trees stood 20 meters tall with very wide branches under which people seek shelter, thus the colloquial name.
