Milenium Development Goals are what every country in the world should strive for to restore environmental balance and a sustainable development. However, that can only be achieved if everyone is aware of those goals. Thus, as an effort to proliferate knowledge about MDGs, a national festival was held.

The National MDG festival was held at Balai Kartini Convention Center, Jakarta with the theme "Beraksi untuk Negeri". The event was opened by Prof. DR. Nila F. Moeloek, Special Presidential Envoy for MDGs and continued with speeches made by 10 public inspirations and 12 experts in international, national and areas concerning MDGs. Festival participants were being involved in the active dialog forum to evaluatevactions conducted.

It is an honor for Sahabat Alam to be nominated and chosen as one of the inspirational public figures and to be given the chance of sharing our experiences with the participants.
