Mangroves ecosystem is very important to ensure the livelihood of coastal environments. Their roots provide a good habitat for consumable sea creatures as well as support to prevent coastal lands from sinking. In an effort to enhance the livelihoods of more coastal regions, Sahabat Alam plants mangroves on the shores of Tidung Island, Thousands Islands. It is hoped that the environment of Tidung Island will be improved and youths would be more inspired to plant more mangroves, especially in Jakarta and other coastal region.
